What the software looks like

A close view into a heap of harvested oil palm fruit bunches: the fruitlets are deep red shading to purple-black and glossy, packed between dry straw-coloured spikelets and pale cut stalk ends. The nearest bunch is sharp and the heap falls away out of focus behind it.

What the crop is

A ripe bunch is about 25 kilograms of fruit and roughly a fifth of that in oil. How much of it reaches the tank is the entire business.
